Want to Make Your Trip to Disney World Less Stressful?

Disney World is an exciting place. And we all know what happens when kids get excited: they get so buoyed up they don’t notice the little things, like money. This means it’s easy to lose – who has time to check their pockets for loose coins and notes when the Rollercoaster beckons for the fourth time?

Or maybe your kids think you have an endless supply and that it doesn’t matter what they spend your money on because you can top them up whenever they get low.

Disney have come up with a solution which can alleviate some of the stress involved. You have a choice of Disney Dollars and Disney Merchandise Cards.

Disney Dollars work just like cash at Disney World. They can be used anywhere within the park, and at certain hotels. They can also be used at local Disney stores in your area.

The Disney Merchandise Card works more like a credit card. The amount of money you load on the card is how much is available. You could get one for each child which makes it easier for you to keep track of how much you've given them. You can tell your kids that the amount on the card is their budget for the duration of your stay. You could also say that you see it as being a practice run for how they’ll eventually handle their own credit card and hopefully that will get them thinking more about how they use it. You could even offer them some bonus money or a reward for still having a credit on the card at the end of your stay.

Both the Disney dollars and the Merchandise Card fit neatly into the FreePass Holder so there is a lot less chance of losing them.
